The forerunner of Occult Ambient Rock from Finland, Opium Warlords, is currently recording their second album TASTE MY SWORD OF UNDERSTANDING. The recordings, engineered by Jouni Leppikangas, started in March and are taking place in Lohja, Finland. The album will be released in 2010. Opium Warlords' 2009 debut "Live at Colonia Dignidad" got rave reviews from the press and was praised for its slow, heavy and uncompromising sound, not to mention the dark humor and general weirdness surrounding the band.

Suomalainen Occult Ambient Rockin edelläkävijä Opium Warlords nauhoittaa parhaillaan toista albumiaan TASTE MY SWORD OF UNDERSTANDING. Äänitykset aloitettiin maaliskuussa ja suoritetaan Lohjalla Jouni Leppikankaan toimesta. Albumi julkaistaan loppuvuodesta 2010. Opium Warlordsin debyyttialbumi "Live at Colonia Dignidad" ilmestyi vuonna 2009. Albumi on saanut hitaasti aukeavan materiaalinsa ansiosta loistavan vastaanoton lehdistössä ja sitä on ylistetty mm. laatusanoilla "introvertti", "painostava", "raskas" ja "laahaava".
