Descriptions "Avant-Pop meets-Iggy Pop" or "Kraftwerk in an Electric Ladyland" crystallises something in Kap Kap's music, but are just part of reality in the band's straggly production. With the Bardo-single Kap Kap presents the cornerstones of its current sound: sad melodies and growing rhythmic textures. The B-side of the single is an interpretation of the electronic band Alpo ja Tomi, and it transforms the stylish "Highlander widescreen version" of the original song closer to the atmosphere of the questionable c-class masterpieces published directly on VHS.

Bardo is the band's second release, the previous ep was released in 2008. Bardo is released as a limited, hand printed and -numbered edition of 200.

Kap Kap is currently recording its debut album, to be released in spring of 2010.
