Survivors Zero, a new 5-piece death metal act from Finland, started as guitarist Sami Jämsén’s personal mission to form a new band which would deliver quality brutal modern death metal with a melodic edge. During a year or so, the musical direction of the band started to take shape and Jämsén also found other metal professionals to complete the line-up.

Survivors Zero inked a record deal with Cobra on October 2008. Their upcoming debut album CMXCIX, is due to be released on September 9th 2009.
